Expertise

Birgit Kadatz-Kuhn, the founder of bk-konzepte, has worked as a free-lancer in the museum planning sector since 2016. Her expert knowledge is based on her experience at ATELIER BRÜCKNER. Award-winning exhibition projects are included in her portfolio, such as King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture Dhahran, Musée d’ethnographie de Genève, Maritime Museum Amsterdam, Deutsches Uhrenmuseum Glashütte and Deutsches Hutmuseum Lindenberg.

Through her work as Head of Interpretation she closely collaborated with national and international institutions, including The Natural History Museum London, International Polar Foundation in Brussels, Bundeskunsthalle Bonn, Archivio Ricordi in Milan and Banca d’Italia in Rome.

She has taught and given lectures at the department of interior design and scenography at Hochschule für Gestaltung und Kunst FHNW Basel, at Volontärsakademie Bayern and the department of History Didactics und Public History at Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen.
